Champcar PDF Print E-mail
Mexico City:  This past weekend was the final race of the Champcar season.  Sebastian Bourdais won his fourth championship and also his last race in the Series.  Next year he will be competing in Formula One.  For this race we use two pace cars because the track is so big 2.7 miles and it makes it easier to bring the field under control to have cars based in different spots.  My teammate Stacy and I ended up going out twice under caution in the Mazda Speed Six which is a lot of fun to drive.  The photo shows my teammates: Gail Truess, Stacy Kuhn, myself and Linda Pobst.  20071111p_00351.jpg

Be Car Care Aware PDF Print E-mail
Sept.14- AIA Western Regional Conference.
In September I made a stop in Regina Saskatchewan for part of the Be Car Care Aware Campaign.  I did television interviews for both CBC and CTV along with a couple of radio interviews.  While doing the media tour I also spoke at the conference about the success of the Be Car Care Aware campaign.  To end off the trip in Regina we held a free car check event on the Saturday morning and more than 70 cars showed up for the free inspection which was done by certified technicians.  All in all it was a great success!

Ladies Car Care Clinics PDF Print E-mail
Oct.17-23-24-25  On each of these evenings a Car Care Clinic was held at OK Tire in Etobicoke Revolution Tire in Barrie,JMH Auto Sales and Service in Guelph and Guelph Brock Road Garage. Over 80 women in total attended these fun informal evenings of information and learning about vehicle maintenance. All of the women thoroughly enjoyed learning how to check oil and how to check their tire pressures!  All of this is important to maintaining our vehicles and keeping them reliable.

Steelback Grand Prix of Toronto PDF Print E-mail

This year again saw me as the official pace car driver for this event.  I'm not sure how many years it's been but it's been a few!  We were quite busy as it was raining off and on which provided for many cautions.  There is a lot of concrete on the track and it is more slippery than the asphalt sections of the track.
